The JALT CALL SIG sends its heartfelt thoughts and prayers to all those affected by the March 11th earthquake and tsunami. After careful consideration, we have decided to go forward with the 2011 JALT CALL Conference as planned. The conference will take place June 3-5 at Kurume University in Fukuoka Prefecture; an area which was untouched by the physical devastation of the tragedy. We will collect donations on-site to give to the Japanese Red Cross to aid in their response.
